The Non-LED diverter achieves round-the-clock passive visibility through two complementary materials science approaches, housed in a sealed, UV-stabilised polymer body with no electronics of any kind.

Retro-Reflective Technology

Micro-prismatic reflective inserts return incoming light directly back toward its source, producing a sharp, high-contrast flash visible to birds in daylight and to vehicle or aircraft lighting at range.

With no solar panel to align, the Non-LED diverter’s field installation is the simplest in the range. The sequence below outlines the standard process; full procedure documentation is available in the installation guide.

Span & Spacing Verification

Confirm the mounting point against the site’s diverter spacing plan and identify the conductor or earth wire diameter to verify clamp fit before mobilisation.

Hot-Stick Clamp Engagement

Position and close the universal clamp on the energised conductor using standard hot-stick tooling, per the crew’s live-line work procedure.

Clamp Verification

Confirm secure seating and correct clamp closure — rated to withstand over 100kg of pull force without slip — before withdrawing the hot stick.

Visual Confirmation

Confirm the flapper rotates freely and reflective faces are unobstructed. No electrical or charging checks are required — the device is functional from the moment of installation.
