Installation Guide
Live-Line Installation,
Standard Across the Range
Every model in the Prakritis range shares the same universal clamp and is designed for hot-stick installation on energised conductors, avoiding the need for a planned line outage. The general sequence below applies to all three models; model-specific notes (such as solar panel orientation for the LED unit) are covered on each product page.
Confirm mounting points against the site’s diverter spacing plan — see CEA Guidelines below — and record conductor or earth wire diameter at each point.
Installation is carried out by trained live-line crews using standard hot-stick procedure and the utility’s approved live-line work method statement.
Position and close the universal clamp on the energised conductor. The clamp accommodates 5mm–38mm diameters without adapters or model changes.
LED units require solar panel orientation toward maximum daily sun exposure; Aero Spin and Non-LED units require a free-rotation check for the flapper assembly.
Confirm clamp security against the rated pull strength (>100kg) before withdrawing the hot stick, and log the installation point against the site diverter register.
